Mech-Chem Associates, Inc. designs, builds and installs fully automated acid etching and chemical milling systems that produce parts for the aerospace industry. PLC software is developed to monitor and control all aspects of the process, from the addition of chemicals to the process tanks, to the treatment and disposal of the waste and wastewater generated from the spent chemistry.
All aspects of the electrical package are included in a Mech-Chem engineered system. The equipment and instrumentation are identified and marked with a specific code. This allows for a seamless installation and easy identification of field devices for future maintenance on the system. Facility power distribution is also designed and balanced based on the facilities power supply as well as the systems requirement.
Mech-Chem understands the need for a balanced power grid, while meeting the needs of the individual systems. Also, the materials used during installation of the systems are chemically resistant to the process they are controlling, including fiberglass boxes, airtight connections and chemically resistant hardware. Mech-Chem’s installations maintain their looks and structural integrity for years. |
